January 1, 2018 – Darren says: Curious to know, but the 1976 editions from Knight have front covers that depict real people, as though it were a TV show (aka the Famous Fives 70s covers). But can't seem to get information on this. Any idea? Was it just staged pics? Thanks! |

Daisy says: As far as I know I don't think there was a Seven series like the Famous Five TV series, Darren. So maybe the front covers were staged. You could always put your question to our sister site.

September 24, 2020 – Arka says: Darren, I am afraid that there is no T. V. Show on the Secret Seven, as Daisy has said. But, though I don't like The Secret Seven books very much (except The Secret Seven Adventure and The Secret Seven Mystery), I would at least, like to watch a show based on it, if it is made properly. The way The Famous Five series was made, if it would be similar to that, then I would not watch it. I hate the way they ruin her beautifully written books. I wish, someone would make a serial properly, so that people like us could enjoy it! |

Daisy says: I never said there was a TV show of the Secret Seven, Arka. |
September 24, 2020 – Arka says: No Daisy. I meant to say that The Secret Seven has got no show, which you have already said. Apologises as my auto correct changed the meaning of the sentence and I did not go through the paragraph that I have written, again. Darren, I think the reason there are pictures of real people in the Knight covers is to make the cover of the book more attractive. Like Find-Outers, though there is no serial made on it, but some publishers have pasted real children finding clues on the cover. I hope now it is clear to you. P. S. In the Wikipedia of The Secret Seven, I found this: The first ever stage adaptation based on The Secret Seven opened in Chester at the city's new Story House Theatre from 1 December 2017. It received good reviews. |
